Publishing Criteria

  • Exclusivity & Archival: Articles must be originally written for BII with a 30-day initial exclusivity period, after which they permanently reside in our technical library.
  • Authentic Intellectual Property: Submissions must be entirely your own work. Third-party statistics, data, and citations must be clearly referenced.
  • Commercial & Technical Relevance: Content must offer meaningful, practical value to the commercial baking sector—addressing real-world challenges, technical solutions, operational efficiencies, or industry advancements.
  • Strict Anti-AI Policy: We prohibit the use of generative AI tools for writing guest columns. Any AI-generated draft is immediately declined.
  • Non-Promotional Tone: We reject articles that read like press releases, favor specific proprietary vendors, or lack factual grounding.
