We are always looking for insights from professionals across the baking and ingredients sector. To submit a guest column, kindly review our publishing criteria and complete the form provided below.
Publishing Criteria
- All articles must be originally written for Bakery Industry Insider and cannot have appeared elsewhere prior to submission. Upon publishing, BII retains exclusivity for a 30-day period. During this time, the author and the public are free to share the link to our publication, but republishing the article in other media is strictly prohibited. Afterward, authors are welcome to republish their work on their own blogs, company websites, or personal social media channels, provided it is not syndicated to competing industry publications.
- Once approved and published, guest columns will permanently reside on bakeryinsider.com.
- Submissions must be entirely your own intellectual property. Any statistics, quotes, or distinct concepts borrowed from third-party sources must be clearly cited.
- We look for compelling viewpoints on current challenges or trends. Your writing should offer fresh, valuable perspectives to ongoing conversations within the commercial baking space.
- We strictly prohibit the use of generative AI tools for writing guest columns. Any draft found to be AI-generated will be immediately declined.
- Ideal submissions have a clear focus and deliver strong takeaways without unnecessary fluff.
- Our editorial team reserves the right to reject articles that read like press releases, heavily favor a specific brand, or lack factual grounding.
- All accepted drafts will undergo our standard editorial process, including fact-checking and stylistic adjustments.
What to Expect
If your draft is selected, an editor will reach out within three weeks. If you haven't heard back by then, we have decided to pass on the submission.
Authors of accepted articles should be prepared to collaborate with our team through two or three rounds of revisions and fact-checking.
For any further inquiries, feel free to reach out to editors@bakeryinsider.com.
